Overview

About This Project

This was an extremely comprehensive custom-built platform for Trevor Noah's Back to Abnormal world tour. The platform allowed fans to purchase tickets, vote for Trevor to tour their country, and explore a fully custom interactive map interface where users could hover over their country and cast a vote. A real-time tally displayed the top 10 most-voted countries, giving management teams direct insight into new potential markets to add to the tour. The platform included a massive backend system to manage tours, presale codes, votes, and customer engagement — all built on Next.js and deployed on Google Cloud servers.

How We Did It

Our Process

The phases we moved through from first conversation to launch day.

01

Discovery & Scoping

We ran a deep discovery session with the client to map existing workflows, pain points, and business goals before writing a single line of code.

02

Design & Architecture

Wireframes and system architecture were signed off together, ensuring both the visual direction and technical stack aligned with long-term needs.

03

Build & Integrate

Iterative development with bi-weekly check-ins. Each sprint delivered testable, deployable increments reviewed by the client team.

04

Launch & Handoff

Staged rollout with a full QA pass, performance audit, and a recorded handoff walkthrough so the team is never dependent on us to make changes.
